This is a SET of 2 items: the HTA Art Auction Catalog, and a separate horse Artist Biographies booklet.   The HTA Equine Art Auction is held at the Tattersalls Sales Pavilion at the historic Red Mile racetrack in the heart of the Bluegrass horse country, Lexington, KY.
There are many beautiful standardbred harness racing paintings & bronzes, some awesome 1911 Calendar pages, Currier & Ives Lithographs, Salvador Dali lithographs, some 1800s bronzes, thoroughbred racing paintings like Spectacular Bid, a Stubbs restrike, Whirlaway & Greyhound prints by George Ford Morris, Dan Patch poster, etc.

All artworks are pictured in color, making this a wonderful reference guide for collectors of horse art, Currier & Ives works, or any of the specific artists, Thoroughbred racing fans, horse artists, etc.

CONTENTS of Art Auction Catalog: The 2005 auction included 200 works of horse art by famous horse artists such as George Ford Morris, Elizabeth Bell, Salvador Dali, Susan Dorazio, Helen Hayse, Leslie Spano, Boyd Saunders, woodcarver John Kittelson, Lisa Perry, sculptor Pierre Jules Mene, Currier & Ives lithographs, Richard Stone Reeves, Robert Dickey, and more.

CONDITION: Good +. Art catalog has some creasing across upper left corner. Pages are clean with no folds, no marks, no rips. Bio Booklet in excellent condition.SIZE: 8″ x 10 5/8″,  40 slick color pages.
