Albatross won 25 of 28 starts, and later sired two time Horse of the Year, Niatross, who is the sire of Nihilator. Extremely rare print-few were ever in circulation. Palenske:    Black & white classic head study of the famous “Trotter of the century”, winner of the 1935 Hambletonian, set a World’s Record for Three year old Trotting gelding. The Lexington Junior League Horse Show, held on the historic Red Mile racetrack, is the first of the American Saddlebred’s Triple Crown shows. The Junior League posters with realistic artwork often sell out during the show & have become very collectible.  I believe this dynamic gaited horse art depicts Terri Chancellor on The Phoenix, & the other rider may be Mary Gaylord (email me if you have more correct info!) This is a wonderful piece of memorabilia for any Saddlebred lover’s collection, or an exciting horse gift for gaited horse fans.
