Saddlebred trainer Al Brown‘s straight head saddle, circa 1930’s-40’s.  Known as “the best colt man in the US”, Brown worked at renowned Dodge Stables & Dixiana Farm, & is the man who started My My racking.   It it not known for certain whether he rode her with this saddle, however he was using this saddle at the time. From 1991-1992 my late husband Bruce Jones, a third generation Saddlebred trainer, was an assistant to Frank Bradshaw.
