VINTAGE SEATTLE SLEW BUMPER STICKER, circa 1977-1978, from the estate of noted bluegrass Thoroughbred photographer John Noye, who was a principal photographer for the Thoroughbred Record.  I purchased this RARE sticker during the 2005 posthumous exhibit & estate sale of the Noye’s work, held at Clark Art & Antiques, Lexington, KY. Saddlebred trainer Al Brown‘s straight head saddle, circa 1930’s-40’s.  Known as “the best colt man in the US”, Brown worked at renowned Dodge Stables & Dixiana Farm, & is the man who started My My racking.   It it not known for certain whether he rode her with this saddle, however he was using this saddle at the time. This photo shows an old painted cast iron Saddlebred lamp from my personal collection. I do not know the age but here is the story of this treasure. From 1991-1992 my late husband Bruce Jones, a third generation Saddlebred trainer, was an assistant to Frank Bradshaw.
